Investment Process
What
determines your success?

As an investor, it is important that you determine
what approach makes you comfortable, and then to
stick with it. We believe that a good approach
applied consistently will provide better results
than the constant search for "the best approach."
In fact, several
very important studies have shown that Asset
Allocation and Investor Behavior are the key
indicators of portfolio success.
As your investment professionals, we begin by
listening to you so we can clearly understand your
situation and needs.
From this starting point, we utilize the following
four-step process to create your tailored
investment portfolio.
Step 1: Getting Started
We work with you to:
-
Define your investment goals and objectives
-
Create an asset allocation
that fits your situation, including your
tolerance for risk
-
Implement your strategy using
the appropriate mutual funds
-
Review your long-term
investment objectives and make changes to your
asset allocation consistent with life cycle
changes
-
Provide ongoing investment
education and information
Step 2: Creating an Asset Allocation Strategy

Once we have developed a picture of your needs, we
will use sophisticated asset allocation software
to develop a range of portfolio options and mixes
designed to meet your goals. We will explain the
benefits of the various options so you clearly
understand the differences. Then we will refine
the options to develop the portfolio mix that is
the most comfortable for you.
Step 3: Implementing Your Strategy
Once we have defined your investment strategy, we
will implement it - selecting the proper funds to
make sure your investment is strategically
diversified in alignment with your investment
objectives.
We use the services
of TD Ameritrade Institutional
Services for our client's accounts. This affords
us the ability to select from over 5,000
top mutual funds - at no cost. No trading
fees or commissions!!
Step 4: Staying on Course
We recognize that, over time, your life will take
some turns that may affect your investment status
such as marriage, education, or retirement.
Additionally, the market's movement creates a need
for occasional rebalancing. For these reasons, we
will meet with you periodically to make certain
your investment is on course with your goals.
Another important benefit for
you is continuous monitoring of the fund managers
within your portfolio. This regular "comparison"
helps us determine whether the money managers are
performing as anticipated and staying within their
styles.
Finally, we will keep you informed with regular:
-
Statements
-
Portfolio Performance
Reports
